Request For Bids

The Selectmen seek bids to install a prefab bridge.

Bids must be received no later than May 25, 2021, 4:00 pm at the Town Office, 856 NH Route 10, Lempster, NH  03605 

Details:  Dredge and fill 522 square feet within the bed and banks of Giles Brook (Tier 3, impacting 50 linear feet) and palustrine forested wetlands to replace an 8 foot diameter culvert and 4 foot diameter overflow culvert with a 23 foot span by 8 foot rise open bottom box culvert and a 4 foot diameter overflow culvert. Temporarily impact 1504 square feet within the bed and banks of Giles Brook and palustrine forested wetlands for dewatering and construction access. Restore 700 square feet within Giles Brook to remove backfill associated with the existing culvert and to re-construct the stream channel.

Work must be completed by September 15, 2021 and follow Wetlands and Non-site specific permit 2019-03831 conditions. Permit and plans available at the Town office.  Project contingent on funding approval at town meeting June 8, 2021.

Town Meeting Postponed to June 8, 2021

Due to concerns arising from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and as duly authorized under Emergency Order #83 as so ordered by Governor Christopher T. Sununu on January 22, 2021, the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Lempster do hereby give notice as follows:
To the voters of the Town of Lempster, in the County of Sullivan, in said State qualified to vote in Town affairs.
You are hereby notified that the annual town meeting that is normally held on the second Tuesday in March as per NH RSA 39:1 will be postponed for the year 2021 to June 8, 2021.
You are hereby notified to meet at the Lempster Community School in said Lempster on Tuesday, the 8th day of June, 2021 at three thirty (3:30 P.M.) in the afternoon to open the polls for the voting of candidates, and at seven o’clock (7:00 P.M.) in the evening for the discussion of the articles of the warrant. The polls for voting on Article 1 will remain open until 7:30 P.M.
