BOARD OF SELECTMEN
March 28, 2017
PRESENT: Chairman Edward Sauer, Selectman Mary Grenier, Selectman Everett Thurber and Ingrid Bjork, Administrative Assistant
OTHERS PRESENT: Highway Supervisor Daryl Simino, Captain Jeremy Wilson, Fire Chief Jon Thomas, Rescue Captain Adam Kobeski, Norman and Laurie Hart.
Selectman Grenier called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM
Agenda Item 1: Payroll and Accounts Payable
The Selectmen reviewed and approved the payroll and accounts payable manifest.
Agenda Item 2: Minutes of Past Meetings
March 16, 2017 Selectmen’s Meeting
The Selectmen reviewed the draft minutes of the Selectmen’s Meeting held on March 16, 2017. Selectman Thurber made a motion to accept the minutes of the Selectmen’s meeting held on March 16, 2017 as presented. Selectman Grenier seconded the motion. Chairman Sauer abstained.
Agenda Item 3: Old Business
Mrs. Richards was not available this evening. No new information.
Agenda Item 4: New Business
Fire and Rescue Department Reports
Fire Chief Jon Thomas submitted the Fire Department report to the Selectmen. See attached.
Chief Thomas asked if they could get a quote on putting hard pack around the fire station. Mr. Simino will get a quote.
Rescue Captain Adam Kobeski submitted the Rescue Department report to the Selectmen. See attached.
Highway Department Report
Mr. Simino submitted a verbal report to the Selectmen this evening. He discussed the following:
Mrs. Hart discussed their interest in purchasing the property located at 313 Mountain Road. The Selectmen discussed several people have shown interest in that property so they believe they will be placing the property with a real estate agent once it’s been held by the town for three years. Selectman Grenier said that the Selectmen should visit the properties they are considering selling this year.
Administration and Correspondence
Reviewed questions from Judd Newcomb, Credere Associates, LLC regarding 929 Route 10. Selectman Grenier will respond.
Selectman Grenier made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:48 PM. Selectman Thurber seconded the motion. All were in favor.
